Do you think that only people who have no financial and economic problems have the time for self improvement and for meditation?
Some people do think so.
Do you agree with this line of thinking?
It is possible that this idea came into being, because people who are in a good economic condition have more free time, and they want to fill it with some activity or hobby.
In my opinion, if you are earnest enough, you can always find the time for self improvement and spiritual growth.
These practices do not take much of your time. You can always find some ten, twenty, or even thirty minutes to practice some exercise, meditate or read.
Self Improvement and Spiritual Growth Do not Depend on Economic Conditions.
It is true, when you are in a good financial condition, it is easier to afford buying books and participating in workshops.
However, there are many instances of people living in difficult conditions, who care about education, improvement, and spiritual growth, and therefore, find the means and the time for them.
Self improvement, meditation and spiritual growth do not depend on one’s economic condition. It is your mind that says they do. Your mind might resist change and improvement, since it is afraid that this might shake its concepts and beliefs, and endanger its control over you.
There are people who say that they are waiting for the right conditions. In most cases, it makes no sense to wait for the right conditions. If you are earnest enough, you can do almost everything, even in difficult conditions.
Many successful people, in all areas of life, lived through difficult conditions and had no money, prior to achieving success in their field. If they were to wait for the right condition they would have never attained anything.
Often, difficulties and problems awaken a stronger desire, more motivation, and the ambition to rise above them.
This is true with self improvement and meditation, and it is true with earning more money and being in a better financial condition.
Self improvement and spiritual growth are an inner process
You should always remember that what goes inside your mind eventually becomes your reality.
If you always complain that you have no money and no time for self improvement and spiritual growth, you don’t allow any opportunity enter into your life. You let your limiting thoughts shape your life.
Self improvement and spiritual growth are an inner process. They would not stand in your way to improve your economic conditions. On the contrary, they would help you improve it.
A change of attitude will make you stronger, happier, and more peaceful, and you will be able to look at your life with a broader vision.
When desire and motivation are strong, you can always find the time for self improvement, meditation and spiritual growth.
Remember, external changes follow inner changes. You need to start the change inside you. You need to change your mindset, and then, external conditions would change.
This means you need to start right now to change, and not wait for the right conditions. Change always starts from within, not from the outside.
