Do words have power? Watch the video below about the power of the words.
Words have a tremendous power. The power of the words is great. I don’t mean just the words you hear or say aloud. I am also talking about the words you repeat in your mind.
- Do you keep telling yourself how difficult life is? If you do, you will always see difficulties everywhere.
- Do you keep telling yourself how poor you are? If you do, your subconscious mind will always be busy justifying these thoughts.
- Do you have a negative or a positive self-talk going on in your mind?
The Power the Words Is Great
What are the powers of words? When you repeat words and phrases with conviction and feelings, they become part of your character, beliefs, and behavior.
Repeating the same words over and again and being convinced of them can eventually change your reality.
Change the words and sentences you use, and you will get different results. The way you phrase a sentence will always affect the results, and some results could be quite dramatic.
This applies to words you repeat in your mind, words you say aloud, and words you read.
Different words affect people differently and cause different reactions. This applies to work interviews, dating, advertising, relationships, conversations, and every sort of communication.
As you see in the video, by changing how you phrase a certain idea, you get different results. People react differently when the same idea is presented in different words.
The words you repeat in your mind, in your inner conversations, also have a tremendous power. If you change them, you can change your life and also how people treat you.
Pay attention to the words you constantly repeat in your mind.
Be aware of what is going on in your mind when you are not too busy, such as while waiting in line, traveling by bus or train, walking, or at any other time you are mentally not busy.
What Kind of Words Do You Repeat in Your Mind?
If you always say:
- I am weak
- I am poor
- This is impossible
- I cannot…
- This is a problem
Change the words you say aloud and in your mind. Instead of saying and repeating negative words say and repeat positive words, such as:
- I am strong
- I am rich
- It is possible and I can
- This a solvable challenge
Say these words with faith and conviction, not just uttering them without believing them.
This might be difficult at first, but if you persist, the inner resistance will get weaker, and the words would sink into your subconscious mind. When this happens, things would start changing in your life.
Thoughts We Keep Repeating Are Affirmations
Unconsciously, you always program your mind with the words you say to yourself and to others. However, you can change these programming by choosing different words. This is quite simple. This is how affirmations work.
Affirmations are statements you keep repeating whether verbally or mentally. Everyone repeats thoughts and words in his or her mind. Unconsciously, everyone is repeating affirmations. It’s important that they are positive and speak about positive results.
- Words can change your life
- Words affect how you feel
- They affect how you react
- Words affect how you treat people, and how you treat them
- Different words bring different results
You can phrase the same idea in different words and see dramatic differences. This applies to the way you talk to your spouse or children, to your friends or clients, to your boss or colleagues, and especially to the words you repeat in your mind.
Be careful of the words you keep telling yourself. They can true if you repeat them often enough.
Words have a tremendous power when we hear them often. This is how people’s opinions are shaped. This is how beliefs are formed. This how habits are formed.
You need to be more conscious of the words you say and think. You need to say in your mind and aloud what you really and truly want, not what you do not want to happen.
Talking and thinking about problems and obstacles takes away motivation and makes you see more problems and more obstacles.
Talking and thinking about achieving goals and about positive results attracts positive outcomes into your life.
